Adobe MAX 2015

Well I got back from Adobe MAX late last week and it was as amazing as I hoped for. The keynote was mind blowing. I was fangirling so hard at certain points that I’m sure I was embarrassing to the people next to me. I’ve now got my head on the swivel for Adobe Fuse CC to drop and I’m itching for some time with Adobe Comp.

The giveaway was probably the best one I’d heard of to date and I feel so lucky to have been there to receive it. You can ask someone else what it was.

The Sneaks portion was mind blowing. There are pieces of my brain left in that theater. Nick Offerman was hilarious as well.

Almost all of my sessions and labs were top tier, save one. I won’t point out what it was but I will say that if you advertise a session based on using certain technology, and then aim 99% of the session towards talk of translating your brand to mobile, people are going to tune out.

The MAX Bash was, as expected, ridiculous. The bands were okay and the attractions were wonderfully weird.

I am torn as to whether I’ll go next year or attend the AIGA conference instead. Or do neither and stay home and attend Brooklyn 1.0. Too many choices man. I’ve got a whole year to decide though.

I also entered a couple of design competitions. One of which was called Cover Band by Cut and Paste. I’ll definitely do this one again if it’s there next year. I’ll pop another post up about that in a couple of days.
